Art as inspiration for new ways of travelling

Our philosophy

At UMA, we believe travelling is about much more than moving from one place to another. Every journey transforms us through the landscapes, the people and the stories we encounter along the way.

That is why we curate every experience through a selection of artists, photographers, illustrators, writers and creators who share a unique perspective on travel. Their work speaks of destinations, memories, encounters and moments that change the way we see the world.

A living collection that invites you to pause, observe and discover new ways of seeing while continuing your own journey.

Traveling with Ariadna Pujol

Ariadna Pujol (@adnapujol) works in graphic design, photography, and art direction. With her camera, she sensitively captures the everyday beauty of the spaces she explores, through light, shape, and color. Her gaze—intimate and calm—is rooted in Camp de Tarragona and the Costa Dorada, but also extends to landscapes, surroundings, and the daily details of her getaways to Terres de l’Ebre and the Pyrenees, and trips to destinations like Morocco, Lanzarote, and Iceland.

Artists

At UMA, we collaborate with creators whose work reflects our way of understanding travel: as an open, personal and transformative experience. Every collaboration expands UMA's creative universe and reminds us that a journey neither begins nor ends at a destination—it continues long after.

Landscapes of Emptiness by Victor Oliva

Víctor Oliva is an artist and graphic designer. Through ink and acrylic painting, he creates imaginary landscapes that evoke the calm of the ocean and the mystery of nature. His works are not postcards of places visited, but compositions that open up to the imagination, inviting us to travel to impossible settings where color, form, and matter engage in a wordless dialogue with each season of the year. In his pieces, the precision of the line intertwines with the spontaneity of the stain. From this interplay emerge landscapes that vibrate between the organic and the textile, between the contained and the fluid — fragments of a chromatic conversation that invite us to pause, look, and let ourselves drift away.

A fresh look with Natàlia Pàmies

Natàlia Pàmies (@feltandseen) is an illustrator and graphic designer. Her work stems from a deep need to express emotions and blend them with everyday life. Born in Barcelona and based in Toronto, her perspective is nourished by both inner and outer journeys. She finds inspiration in the silent landscapes of Greece and Indonesia, the poetry of Italian villages, and the melancholy of small North American towns. Traveling allows her to expand her sensitivity and transform every experience into images that connect more with what is felt than with what is seen.
