This area near Trafalgar Street was for many years a hub of workshops and textile factories that shaped the character of the neighborhood. The textile industry provided not only jobs, but also identity: rhythm, material, and a creative way of inhabiting.
The building is part of that history and witnessed the city’s transformation. It was born to produce and, over time, evolved to welcome. Preserving its memory does not mean staying in the past but understanding where we come from.
